Repression in Chisinau

New protests are announced and today around 200 people are protesting in the center, Moscovici says.

Lots of people have been arrested today, not in connection with any rpotests. Police are reported to have taken students out of the lecture halls. In this clip the protesters ask where the police have taken a number of school kids, without answer. (See the twitter channel)

Among the arrested are also foreign citizens (most likely Romanians) and journalists. Reporters claim not to have been let into the coutry, and this Moldovan journalist explains that he has been beaten by policemen without uniforms.

Among the arrested are the businessman Gabriel Stati, accused of financing the "attempt to coup de etat" and journalist Natalia Moraru.
